Shipley Do-Nuts is celebrating National Donut Day on Friday, June 6th.  This event follows Doughnut Day, created by The Salvation Army in 1938 to honor the men and women who served doughnuts to soldiers during World War I.  This year, Shipley Do-Nuts is partnering with The Salvation Army and will donate a portion of National Doughnut Day sales back to the organization.  Participating locations will also offer a free glazed doughnut and small coffee from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. on June 6.

In addition to the National Donut Day event, participating locations will also feature a “Dozen Days of Do-Nuts” promotion for the month of June.  The promotion will offer customers one free glazed doughnut with any purchase every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in June from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m.

“We are very excited to be partnering with The Salvation Army for National Doughnut Day this year,” says Shipley owner Lawrence Shipley, III.  “This is a fun promotion that allows us to support a great organization as well as reward our everyday customers.”
