Sizzler is bringing together two of its most popular menu items—steak and shrimp—with another American favorite—pasta—for a trio of new, limited-time entrees. While Sizzler has offered a small selection of pasta and seafood pasta dishes over the years, this is the first time it has paired steak with them. It also is the first time it has sautéed shrimp, having only served it fried or grilled.

Each of the Steak and Pasta Combos pairs Sizzler's fresh, hand-cut USDA Choice six-ounce tri tip with a side of shrimp pasta. Shrimp pasta dishes also are available without steak. All three entrees are prepared fresh. They include:

Steak and Crispy Shrimp Alfredo, which pairs fettuccini in creamy Alfredo sauce with diced tomatoes, crispy fried shrimp, and parmesan cheese. Sizzler recommends the dish be enjoyed with a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon.

Steak and Garlic Shrimp Scampi, featuring sautéed shrimp in a rich lemon sauce, tossed with fresh basil, and linguine. Its recommended wine also is Cabernet Sauvignon.

Steak and Spicy Cajun Shrimp, which mixes sautéed shrimp with bell peppers and onions, tossed with penne pasta in a spicy Cajun cream sauce. Pinot Noir or White Zinfandel are suggested wine pairings.

More than three-quarters of Americans eat pasta at least once a week,” says Katie Cameron, senior marketing director. “These flavorful combos will give our regular guests a new reason to return more often, while enticing new pasta lovers to visit.”

Available at participating locations, both the steak and shrimp pasta combos and the full-size shrimp pasta entrees are priced at $10.99. They will be available through September 1, 2013.
