Slapfish, a Modern Seafood Shack serving up bold, crave-worthy dishes in a fast casual setting, announced the opening of its newest location in Park City, Utah. The brand’s third restaurant in Utah (and 11th location total) is slated to open its doors at 6622 N. Landmark Drive in Park City in mid-December as it continues spreading its brand of ridiculously responsible seafood throughout the region.

Known for inventive dishes like Clobster Grilled Cheese, Lobster Grinders and Chowder Fries, the modern seafood shack has created a niche in the marketplace, serving up well-managed seafood in a fast casual setting. Catering to natives and tourists alike, Slapfish Park City offers an array of mouthwatering dishes including the Sweet Pow Shrimp, Baja Mahi Sandwich, Surf N Turf Lobster Burger, and Ultimate Fish Taco. Boasting a full menu of dishes from under the sea, guests reap the numerous health benefits of seafood with every bite.

“We are beyond excited to introduce Park City residents and visitors to our crave-worthy seafood dishes,” says Chef Andrew Gruel, founder and CEO of Slapfish. “With our fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and creative flavor combinations, Slapfish will soon become a culinary destination for those seeking the quality of fine dining with the cost and convenience of fast food. We are redefining the fast casual seafood landscape, and we look forward to continued success in Utah.”

Slapfish Park City is the third Slapfish restaurant to be opened by HN Capital. Following the success of their first two Slapfish locations in Lehi and Sandy, plus 10 years of experience expanding fast casual concepts across five states, the seasoned restaurateurs look forward to bringing boat-to-plate cuisine to Park City. From locals looking for a change in their everyday eateries to visiting skiers and snow bunnies on the hunt for the area’s best bites, Slapfish Park City is sure to infuse the resort town with a new, refreshing dining concept.

“After the response in Lehi and Sandy, we are thrilled to open our third Slapfish location in Park City,” adds Darryl Neider, HN Capital Managing Partner and Owner. “Park City is a one-of-a-kind town, just like Slapfish is a one-of-a-kind concept. With an influx of tourists during the summer and winter months, and locals always on the lookout for something new, we are confident that Slapfish will be a huge success, offering a fun, relaxing and unique dining experience.”

Founded by Chef Gruel in 2011, Slapfish started as a food truck serving boat-to-plate seafood and quickly grew into eleven brick-and-mortar locations, with upcoming openings in South Korea and the UK. With plans to open up to eight locations throughout Utah, and at least 60 across the Intermountain West region and Texas over the next decade, the HN Capital team looks forwards to making Slapfish a household name in partnership with Gruel.

To celebrate the opening of the vibrant new location, Slapfish Park City welcomes locals with a grand opening celebration in mid-December. Park City diners are invited to indulge in seafood like they’ve never tasted before, and will also have the opportunity to meet the man behind the concept—Chef Andrew Gruel. Additionally, free Lobster Rolls will be given to the first 100 guests in line on the Friday of grand opening weekend, and Lobster Taquitos will be given to the first 100 guests in line the following Saturday.
