Slapfish, a Huntington Beach, California–based, chef-driven, fast-casual seafood restaurant with an emphasis on serving fresh, sustainable dishes, opened at Terminal 2 in Los Angeles International Airport at the end of June. The airport will offer a signature menu including Slapfish restaurant staples like lobster rolls, fish and chips, and chowder fries.

Since opening its first restaurant location in 2012, Slapfish has created a distinct brand that revolves around "boat-to-plate" cuisine in a casual, relaxed setting.

Slapfish is expanding through a partnership with Fransmart, the franchise development company behind the explosive growth of brands like Five Guys Burgers and Fries. The brand’s planned expansion in 2015 includes both franchise and corporate locations for Orange County, California, BWI Airport in Maryland, and Dubai, UAE.
