Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q announced the opening of a 33rd location of the North Carolina-based restaurant brand. The new store is located at 424 Yopp Road in Jacksonville, North Carolina.

The latest opening for the quick-service concept boasts 4,900 square feet and can seat approximately 140 diners hungry for the brand's famous fried chicken and Eastern North Carolina-style barbecue.

The second of two Jacksonville locations for Smithfield's also helds to satisfy a very particular segment of the North Carolina population, which Smithfield's is proud to serve: the state's locally stationed members of the military. Both the latest Yopp Road location and the other Jacksonville location on Gum Branch Road are less than a 15 minute drive to Camp Lejeune's main gate and visitor center.

The new Jacksonville location, as well as all 32 other locations, is currently operating under summer hours: 10 a.m. - 10 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. - 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

"Onslow County is one of the state's oldest counties, but it's certainly not slowing down by any means," says Richard Averitte, marketing direct of Smithfield's. "Onslow County continues to grow and offer new opportunities to its residents and visitors every year and we are very excited to have opened our 33rd location in this part of the state."
