May is National Salad Month and to celebrate Snappy Salads is giving away free salads for a month. Guests who check-in on Facebook while at any Snappy Salads location will be entered into a drawing to receive free salads during the month of June. Five lucky winners will be announced on Monday, June 4.
“With warmer weather, there’s no better time to give your oven a rest. There are so many creative and flavorful things you can do with salads,” says Chris Dahlander, Snappy Salads founder. “When most people think of ‘salad’, they think of a traditional side salad or boring salad but we focus on entrée salads that satisfy your appetite.”

National Salad Month was established in 1992 in response to a Gallup Poll that revealed that three out of four people eat a salad at least every other day. The month-long event celebrates creative salad recipes and encourages consumers to eat more greens. “We make it easy for more people to eat salads on a daily basis,” said Dahlander “because we all know that a salad a day will keep the doctor away.”
