Snarfburger added a gluten-free bun and tater tots to its menu of burgers, sandwiches, fries and frozen custard. Two Snarfburgers are located in Denver and one in Boulder.
In the past, Snarfburger’s lettuce wrap was an alternative for people who have a gluten sensitivity or preference. However, after numerous requests from customers to provide a non-gluten bun, Jimmy Seidel “Snarf”, founder of Snarfburger and Snarf’s Sandwiches, felt it was time to add one. “I wanted our gluten-free guests to be able to enjoy the full Snarfburger experience. I’m very pleased with the quality of the bun we have and can’t wait for customers to try it.”
An additional new menu item is tater tots, a classic favorite. It fits the menu concept which features other throwback items such as a fried bologna sandwich. Also on the menu are specialty burgers, a veggie burger, sandwiches, fries, onion rings, frings (half fries and half rings), frozen custard and milkshakes.
Seidel opened the first Snarfburger in 2013 in Boulder near University of Colorado. His dream was to bring back the old school burger shack. His burgers now have a cult following with the favorite item being “The Snarfburger” made with two all-beef patties, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, mayo, mustard, ketchup & hot sauce. Snarfburger was recently voted Best Hamburger, Best Fries and Best Veggie Burger in Westword’s Best of 2021 Readers’ Choice. They received the same Best Hamburger and Best Fries awards in 2020. Seidel is also the founder of Snarf’s Sandwiches which is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year.
