Tampa-based SoFresh, an emerging fresh casual concept that serves nutritious, made-to order meals that are quick and healthy, will have its Carrollwood grand opening Tuesday, May 11, according to John Williams Jr., SoFresh founder and partner/vice president operations. This will be store No. 11 for the chain.
“On May 11, we will offer 50 percent off all dine-in, take-out and online orders via the SoFresh app or SoFresh website,” says Williams. “The grand opening will also feature giveaways from our neighbor retail partners, ranging from gyms to yoga and pilates studios, all businesses that fit with our healthful menu.”
SoFresh Carrollwood is located at 14398 North Dale Mabry in the Shoppes of Carrollwood. It joins 4 Rivers, Five Guys, Starbucks and Tropical Smoothie as its neighbors in the center.
The Carrollwood franchise owner/operator is Jay Patel. A graduate of the University of South Florida, he has spent the last five years managing his family’s portfolio of hotels.
“I’m excited to be serving nutritious, delicious dishes made to order in an area I love,” says Patel. “SoFresh is a fast-growing, fresh casual concept.”
According to Clay Donato, SoFresh partner/vice president development, the Carrollwood location is adding close to 30 new jobs in the community. Since its first location opening in 2013, SoFresh has created more than 200 jobs in the Tampa Bay area.
