Tampa-based SoFresh, an emerging fresh casual, concept that serves nutritious, made-to order meals that are quick and healthy, will open a location on Wednesday, January 13, in Lakeland’s Lake Miriam Plaza, according to Clay Donato, partner/vice president development.

“Lakeland is a booming Central Florida market,” says Donato. “We are very excited to bring SoFresh to Lakeland and be able to serve the area with our menu items which include vegan and gluten free options.”

The location address is 4756 South Florida Avenue. On opening day, SoFresh will offer 50 percent off all in-store, web, and SoFresh app orders. There will be other give-aways and prizes sponsored by local retailers. The restaurant opens at 10:30 a.m. “

The franchise operator is Kareem Mustafa and this is his first SoFresh location. “I decided to open a SoFresh because I believe every community needs a restaurant like SoFresh,” Kareem says. “I am excited to help people make better-for-you food choices and treat each customer like friends and family when they visit our store.”

According to Donato, SoFresh is projected to add eight to 10 new locations in 2021.
