Sonic Corp., parent company and franchisor of the nation’s largest chain of drive-in restaurants, announced the addition of four new leaders to the marketing team. Jon Dorch joins the marketing team as vice president of integrated customer engagement; Bob Moorhead joins Sonic as the vice president of customer relationship management and loyalty; Scott Uehlein will serve as the vice president of product innovation and development for the Sonic brand; and Burke Morley enters the marketing team as senior director of creative and brand content. The experience and knowledge Dorch, Moorhead, Uehlein, and Morley bring to the team in Oklahoma City continues to build on Sonic’s foundation of top industry talent, as the brand maintains its focus on recruiting the best marketers to the quick-service industry.

Dorch, vice president of integrated customer engagement, is responsible for leading all digital customer engagement functions and development of digital engagement strategies and programs including mobile, web and digital display experiences. Prior to Sonic, Dorch served at Whole Foods Market, Inc. in Austin as the senior director of experience design and mobility where he was responsible for consumer facing digital experiences as well as managing mobile and web channels.

Moorhead, vice president of customer relationship management and loyalty, will develop consumer strategies and programs to inform and inspire the consumer marketing and product development teams, while evaluating the effectiveness of marketing initiatives through brand and customer metrics. Moorhead comes to Sonic with more than 20 years of experience in the development of loyalty, customer segmentation, and customer relationship programs. Most recently, he served as vice president of client services for Epsilon, where he worked on customer relationship management and loyalty programs for Fortune 500 clients including Toys ‘R’ Us, Best Buy, FedEx, ExxonMobil, and American Express.

Uehlein, vice president of product innovation and development, oversees the brand’s team of culinary experts, managing the development of innovative menu items Sonic’s guests love. Previously serving as vice president of food and beverage at the renowned Canyon Ranch Resorts based Tucson, Arizona, Uehlein brings more than three decades of experience in the restaurant industry to Sonic’s culinary team.

Morley, senior director of creative and brand content for Sonic, is responsible for the development, implementation, production, and communication of customer-facing advertising and consumer content. Morley comes to Sonic from Nike and has an extensive background leading marketing and brand experience strategies in the U.S. and Canada. Prior to his work at Nike, Burke served as vice president of brand strategy for Mood Media focusing on consumer brand and retail.
