Sonic's Red Bull Slush Returning for Summer

Sonic Drive-In teamed up with Red Bull again to launch something special and keep guests refreshed all summer as temperatures climb: the new Red Bull Summer Edition Watermelon Slush and the return of the Red Bull Slush.

The Red Bull Summer Edition Watermelon Slush starts with the new Red Bull Summer Edition Watermelon hand-mixed with Sonic’s iconic Slush. Guests can also look forward to the return of the Red Bull Slush, which serves up the classic Red Bull Energy Drink in a frozen, icy Sonic Slush.

“Watermelon is the ‘it’ flavor of summer and Red Bull Summer Edition pours perfectly into our Slush to elevate the sunshine feeling of summer,” says Scott Uehlein, vice president of product innovation and development for Sonic. “Our guests were obsessed with the Red Bull Slush last summer, and we just know they’re going to love the new Red Bull Summer Edition Watermelon Slush, too, both exclusively available at SONIC, the Ultimate Drink Stop®.

Available only through August 30, the Red Bull Slushes are $3.99 for a Medium Slush, and half-price anytime when ordered on the Sonic app or between 2-4 p.m. during Happy Hour at Sonic.

Red Bull Energy Drink and Red Bull Summer Edition Watermelon cans are also available at drive-ins upon request for $2.99, or $4.99 for two cans.
