While the Soulman’s signature Friday Fish Fry is popular all year long, it is especially appreciated during Lent, the 40-day holy period before Easter. On Lenten Fridays, Christians may abstain from meat, opting for fish-based or meatless meals, and Soulman’s serves it up the right way to satisfy North Texans’ hunger.

“On Friday nights, our fish fry meals are available for dine-in or carry-out from 5 pm-9 pm at all Soulman’s locations. For decades, our guests have enjoyed deep-fried catfish fillets, hush puppies, and Soulman’s famous sides, including our award-winning house-cut french fries, Texas style creamed corn, delectable friend cabbage or traditional cole slaw, piled high,” says Brett Randle, CEO of Soulman’s Bar-B-Que. “Our catfish is lightly coated and fried in small batches so the orders are always fresh and crisp.”

Priced at $14.49 for the Medium Catch (4 pieces of fish, two sides, and hush puppies) and $15.49 for the Big Catch (6 pieces of fish, two sides, and hush puppies), the Friday Fish Fry is available at all 19 North Texas Soulman’s locations.

“As we celebrate fifty years of serving North Texans, we will continue to listen to our customers and communities, and they are raving about our Friday Night Fish Fry!” Randle says.
