Steak ‘n Shake, famous for the Original Steakburger and hand-dipped milkshakes, celebrates the grand opening of its first restaurant in the city of Carrollton, Georgia.
The official ribbon-cutting ceremony takes place Thursday, January 17, at 10 a.m., to be hosted by Alberto Almer, president of A1 General Services Co.
Mayor of Carrollton, Wayne Garner isalso slated to attend.
Sardar Biglari, CEO of Steak ‘n Shake, says, “We are extremely excited to bring another Steak ‘n Shake restaurant to Georgia. Each time we have opened a new Steak ‘n Shake, we have received a tremendous turnout, which is building to an ardent following.

Steak ‘n Shake, founded in 1934 in Normal, Illinois, by restaurateur Gus Belt, is the pioneer in the “better burger” segment of the restaurant industry.
In addition to showcasing the new design, Steak ‘n Shake continues its 78-year-old tradition of serving a variety of Steakburgers and milkshakes, including the newest and tastiest offerings, the Santa Fe Steakburger, as well as the limited-time-only Red Velvet Milk Shake.
Steak ‘n Shake guests can also enjoy a number of daily deals beginning with the Half Price Happy Hour on all milkshakes and drinks served weekdays from 2–4 p.m., Kids Eat Free on Weekends, and the “4 meals under $4 menu.”
