Steak ‘n Shake, famous for the Original Steakburger and hand-dipped milkshakes, celebrates the grand opening of its Bonner Springs, Kansas, location at 24 N. 130th Street June 23, at 10 a.m.  The Grand Opening will be hosted by Steak ‘n Shake Franchisees Paul Ledgard Sr. and Cindy Ledgard, owners of Heartland SNS LLC; Paul Ledgard, Jr., vice president of perations; Becca Ledgard, district training manager; Dave Atchison, district manager; and Gladys Wilson, HR manager.

Also attending the grand opening will be Jeff Harrington, Bonner Springs mayor; Tom Stephens, city council president; Rodger Shannon, mayor pro tempore; Joe Peterson, councilmember; Mike Thompson, councilmember; Mark Kipp, Councilmember; and Marcia Harrington, community economic development director.

Steak ‘n Shake, founded in 1934 in Normal, Illinois, by restaurateur Gus Belt, is the pioneer of the better-burger segment of the restaurant industry. Steak ‘n Shake continues its 80-year-old tradition of serving a variety of Steakburgers and Milkshakes including the newest and tastiest offerings: the Philly Cheese Steakburger, Nutella Milkshake, as well as the recently updated $4 menu. The $4 menu includes perennial favorites like the Original Double ‘n Cheese, as well as new offerings like the Cajun Double Steakburger and the Grilled Cheese Steakburger Melt. All $4 menu meals are served with fries for $3.99. This incredible menu also features Seasoned Fries in four mouthwatering flavors: Parmesan Cheese ‘n Herbs, Salt ‘n Vinegar, Sea Salt ‘n Cracked Pepper, and NEW Cajun.
