The fans spoke, and California Tortilla listened. Street Tacos edged out the competition to win March’s Elito 8 Tournament; now they’re available at California Tortilla locations nationwide starting Monday, May 20.
For a limited time only, customers can get all the flavors of the city streets inside their favorite Cal-Mex restaurant. Korean BBQ tacos are made with mesquite steak topped with Korean BBQ sauce and a wallop of Sriracha, Monterey Jack, cabbage slaw, chili sauce, and green onions.
Carnitas Verde tacos include carnitas pork, enchilada sauce, onion-cilantro relish, and Monterey Jack. Customers can also try the Havana Chicken tacos, stuffed with mesquite chicken and the brand’s signature spicy Havana Sauce, with Monterey Jack, pico de gallo, and avocado.
Served as a trio of mini tacos, all three come wrapped in a soft corn tortilla shell.
The trio of mini street tacos will be offered at $6.49. Customers can also order a combo for $8.69, which comes with three mini street tacos, a 22-ounce drink, and choice of chips & queso, salsa, or rice and beans.
Street Tacos will be available from May 20 for a limited time.
