Subway Debuts Garlic Bread Just in Time for Subtember

Customers can soon enjoy the SUBWAY restaurant chain’s latest innovation, new Garlic Bread, which will be available for a limited-time this fall, beginning Sunday, September 1. Joining the latest savory addition is the return of the fan favorite $5 Any Regular FOOTLONG offer.


Back by popular demand, SUBWAY sandwich lovers can now treat themselves to a choice of 22 made-to-order $5 FOOTLONG varieties, like the SUBWAY Melt, Turkey & Black Forest Ham, and Oven Roasted Chicken.


We love to treat our customers to new versatile flavors that complement the submarine sandwiches on our menu, hot or cold,” says Tricia Hetherington, director of R&D for the SUBWAY brand. “The mouth-watering garlic flavor profile serves as the perfect pairing to any of our sandwiches, especially the hearty Spicy Italian, Meatball Marinara, or Italian B.M.T. FOOTLONG.”


In a national consumer taste test, the new savory garlic bread was a top performer and it joins a collection of five bread options, baked fresh daily. All SUBWAY bread is fortified with Calcium and Vitamin D, and a six inch sandwich includes the equivalent to a glass of milk.


The $5 Any Regular FOOTLONG promotion is available for a limited-time-only through September 30 at SUBWAY restaurants nationwide. SUBWAY enthusiasts are encouraged to ease back into the busy school routine and fuel the fall season with a visit to SUBWAY restaurants to get their fill of $5 FOOTLONGS.
