When Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café debuted in 2012, the resulting fast casual concept fulfilled husband and wife co-founders Allison and Ivan Chavez’s dream of bringing the brand’s namesake and highly versatile French street fare staple to Houston. Inspired by Ivan’s frequent trips to crêpe carts while studying in Paris, Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café has not only flourished in the Bayou City, but also expanded across Texas and into Mexico.

Following its summer launch at The Domain in Austin, a fall unveiling is planned for lucky 11 in Houston’s Sugar Land Town Square.

The 2,257-square-foot, street level site at 15911 City Walk in Sugar Land Town Square is located just inside the eastern gateway of the 32-acre pedestrian-oriented village – a strategic location chosen by the Chavezes given the high visibility. CBRE’s Brian Ashby and Sydney Dixon represented Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café.

According to the Chavezes, “Sugar Land Town Square was well ahead of its time in Houston as one of the city’s first community-centric, mixed-use hubs. We always envisioned a Sweet Paris in the development given its unique charm, and we even considered it as the site of our first location. In addition to its outdoor, pedestrian orientation, we’re also excited about the opportunity to personalize our storefront.”

The restaurant will offer seating for 74 inside in addition to 42 outside on the expansive patio. The menu will offer a variety of breakfast, sweet and savory crépes, in addition to salads, paninis, milkshakes, wine and champagne. Signature crépe offerings include Oreo Cookies n’ Cream, Berry Agave, Le Mexicain and Chicken Enchilada.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café to Sugar Land Town Square. The concept is beloved across Houston, and it will create a wonderful asset for visitors, residents and office tenants as both a full-fledged dining experience, as well as a spot to grab a coffee and snack while shopping or cap off an evening with a dessert and glass of champagne,” says Matt Ragan of Rebees.

Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café will join recent Sugar Land Town Square tenant additions including Mattison Avenue Salon Suites & Spa and State Fare Kitchen & Bar.
