Swisher Hygiene Inc., a leading provider of essential hygiene and sanitizing products and services, announced the unveiling of its newest 54,000 square foot manufacturing and training facility near Phoenix, Arizona, enabling the company to significantly and efficiently expand its production and innovation capabilities in the Southwest region.
The facility will manufacture a variety of liquid, solid, and powder chemical products, while additional finished goods storage will also allow Swisher to improve its overall service by providing more efficient deliveries to its Southwest regional distributors and customers. The new facility also includes a laboratory to further enhance product innovation, and a uniquely designed training room with a fully operational dish room and restroom space.
"We are enthusiastic about this new facility, which is a key part of our plan to standardize and simplify our cost structure while allowing Swisher to better serve our customers in the Southwest," says Blake Thompson, chief operating officer of Swisher. "The facility is a significant step-up in terms of efficiency from our previous operations in the region, and with additional space and modern manufacturing equipment in place, we expect to enhance our overall production while improving our distribution capabilities to deliver our products faster and more efficiently to our customers."
The new facility will also be home to Swisher's regional parts and dish machine distribution center.
