Taco John's Brings the Music with Concert Giveaway

Taco John’s is teaming up with a global leader in live music and one of the most popular soft drinks in the world for its latest promotion. In collaboration with Live Nation and Mtn Dew, the quick-service Mexican restaurant chain has launched the Live/Stream Concert Giveaway. The contest will award one grand-prize winner with an all-expenses-paid trip to attend the Live Nation event of their choice.

“We’ve hosted a number of contests and promotions in the past, but the Live/Stream Concert Giveaway is by far the biggest in terms of prizes,” says Billie Jo Waara, Taco John’s CMO. “It’s also the first that we’re integrating into TJ Rewards, our new loyalty app. Fans who have the app have an easy way to enter.”

“We’re big believers in rewarding loyal fans, and we wanted to do something special for them,” Waara says. “By partnering with Mtn Dew and Live Nation, the possibilities shot through the roof. We’ve seen that our younger guests place a lot of value on these kinds of experiences, and we’re excited about bringing them such a great opportunity.”

Customers can get in on the action by downloading the TJ Rewards app for iOS or Android. During the Live/Stream concert promotion, each 20-ounce fountain beverage cup will contain a unique code. Once the guest enters the code on the contest page within the app, they can win prizes by playing a “scratch, match, and win” game. Prizes include free food, bluetooth speakers and other audio gear, as well as the grand prize: the concert experience of a lifetime.
