Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, a national travel stop company, has signed a deal to add 10 Taco John’s quick-service Mexican restaurants to its travel stop locations.

“Mexican QSR is a fast-growing segment of the food industry, and Taco John’s will help us expand those offerings to our customers,” says Joe Cotton, Love’s director of restaurant services. “It’s a brand with a strong, loyal customer base, and it has significant available territory, which gives us a lot of flexibility to bring high-quality Mexican fast food to travelers and professional drivers nationwide.”

Taco John’s is one of the largest Mexican fast food brands in the U.S., with almost 400 restaurants in 27 states. Taco John's was founded in 1969 and has built a strong following in the central and north central United States. The brand signed deals for 25 new locations in 2014, and the deal with Love’s gives Taco John’s a jumpstart on 2015.

“At Taco John’s, our goal is to become the fastest-growing Mexican QSR in the country,” says CEO Jeff Linville. “Demand for Mexican food — for quality and freshness — is strong. I expect us to reach 1,000 locations in just a few years, and I’m excited to jumpstart our growth by partnering with a great company like Love’s.”
