Originally introduced in May 2002 as a limited time offer, TacoTime’s Chicken Fiesta Salad now features a Romaine lettuce blend and two new dressings -- Santa Fe Chile Lime (a vinaigrette flavored with fresh lime and herbs) and Creamy Bacon Ranchero (sour cream, lime, red peppers, bacon bits and spices). The salad is entrée-sized, with grilled, marinated, all-white chicken; sweet corn; black beans; and seasoned rice. It’s topped with a blend of pepperjack and cheddar cheeses, salsa fresca, and julienne whole wheat tortilla strips.
Rounding out the Garden Fresh Salad line are the Tostada and Taco salads, both served in a fried tortilla bowl. The Tostada Salad features refried pinto beans, seasoned ground beef, shredded lettuce, sour cream, cheddar cheese, and tomatoes, while the Taco Salad features seasoned ground beef, shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, and salsa fresca.
