TCBY (www.tcby.com), the leading frozen yogurt concept, continues to expand its footprint in Florida with a new store now open in Sanford, marking the 30th store in Florida. The owner of the new location is Richard Santos, a first-time franchise owner in Florida.

The new store, located at the Marketplace at Seminole Town Centre at 1649 WP Ball Boulevard in Sanford, is 1,600 square feet and features TCBY’s new self-serve concept, which allows customers to make their own frozen yogurt treat by choosing from 12 available flavors and mixing in a variety of toppings.

“This exciting business concept we’re bringing to Sanford provides customers with a hands-on experience in creating their frozen yogurt treat,” says Tim Casey, CEO of TCBY. “We expect continued growth in Florida based on the customer demand for the healthiest frozen yogurt available on the market.”

TCBY also opened a new store in Texarkana, marking the 30th store in Texas.

The owner of the new location is David Weaver, managing partner of Lone Star Yogurt, who has partnered with TCBY to open 200 self-serve locations in Texas in the next 10 years.

The new store, located at the Richmond Ranch Shopping Center at 2511 Richmond Road in Texarkana, is 2,000 square feet and features TCBY’s new self-serve concept, allowing customers to make their own frozen yogurt treat by choosing from 10 available flavors and mixing in a variety of toppings.

“Our growth in Texas has expanded significantly this year through our new area developer partnership with David Weaver,” Casey says. “Through our strategic plan to open 200 self-serve locations in the Texas in the next 10 years, David will continue to work directly with potential franchisees to expand our trusted brand within the great state.”
