Teriyaki Madness, an Asian restaurant concept, has recently announced the hiring of Dave O’Connor as the new director of marketing who brings with him decades of experience in the foodservice industry.

O’Connor joins Teriyaki Madness after 25 years in the restaurant industry. Starting his career working at local restaurants during high school and college, he continued to work his way up the ladder throughout the years. After serving as operations manager for Hops Grille and Brewery, O’Connor took the position of marketing manager for Old Chicago Restaurants, where he stayed for 10 years. With experience working with national chains, independent restaurants as well as with emerging brands, O’Connor brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Teriyaki Madness.

“We are confident that Dave will be the perfect man for this job,'” says Michael Haith, CEO of Teriyaki Madness. “He has all of the necessary experience and then some and he has the true love for the brand.”

As the director of marketing, O’Connor will focus primarily on making Teriyaki Madness a nationally recognized brand. O’Connor will also focus on creating a streamlined system of procedures to grow rapidly and provide the ultimate support to franchisees.
“I am thrilled to bring my experience to a brand with as much potential as Teriyaki Madness,” O’Connor says. “I know that with the right moves, this can and will be the next big thing in America. I started at the very bottom of the restaurant totem pole and have learned all of the ins and outs on my way to director of marketing. Knowing the industry from the ground up will help me in choosing the right path to take when helping develop Teriyaki Madness.”
