Smoothie King Franchises Inc. the premier smoothie and nutritional lifestyle center, announced the opening of its first corporate store in Addison, Texas, located in the Addison Walk Shopping Center at 5000 Beltline Rd.
“We are excited to join the Addison community and provide a variety of healthy, quality products to our guests,” says Wan Kim, CEO of Smoothie King Global. “Whether in need of a mid-day snack or a post-workout smoothie to recharge, we are here to help local residents stay energized and maintain a nutritional diet.”
The new Addison location is the first of 15 corporate and 20 franchise stores scheduled to open over the next three years in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. Smoothie King opened its first store in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in 1995 and currently has 27 stores in operation.
As one of the original founders of the nutritional fresh-blended fruit smoothie, Smoothie King offers a wide assortment of fresh-blended, healthy smoothies, juices, nutritional supplements, and snacks that set the brand apart from other smoothie concepts.
Smoothie King marked its fortieth anniversary this year with more than 500 locations in the U.S. and still plans to add 1,000 new franchised and corporate locations domestically over the next five years. New franchisees can still take advantage of Smoothie King’s incentive program and receive 40 percent off the franchise fee, a savings of $10,000, until the first 40 agreements of 2013 have been signed.
