ThermoWorks announced that it launched the new DishTemp Plate-Simulating Dishwasher Tester.

The new DishTemp from ThermoWorks is the first food safety thermometer shaped like a plate. Designed to ride along with a load of dishes, the DishTemp accurately records the max surface temperature experienced by dishware inside a commercial dishwasher. Engineered with molded-in, water-tight seals, using industrial grade materials, DishTemp carries an IP66 rating and comes with a NIST-Traceable Calibration Certificate (so operators know it’s accurate), and a one-year warranty.

The Super-Fast Thermapen provides full readings in 2–3 seconds. Advanced technology makes the new Thermapen Mk4 even more intuitive than previous models. Hold it in any direction and the display automatically rotates right side up so you can read it in any position—in either hand, straight up or down. It features a built-in acceleromater like the one in smartphones. Cut HACCP checklist times by 75 percent.
