Tijuana Flats announced it will unveil a brand-new menu featuring a fresh look and new menu items, available online and at all locations beginning February 24. This is the first new menu launched under the company’s recently hired vice president of culinary and executive chef, Joel Reynders.

Boasting a bold, new design, the new menu will feature two new starters as well as a brand-new signature Tinga flavor featured on three classic menu items.

New Starters:

  • Chicken Tortilla Soup: A mouth-watering soup featuring shredded chicken, red chili chicken broth, shredded cheese, pico de gallo, fresh cilantro, crunchy tortilla strips, and guac.
  • Loaded Guac: A new take on a classic starter, loaded guac includes pico de gallo, bacon, queso fresco, and chopped cilantro piled on top. Talk about a delicious way to start your meal!
  • New Signature Flavor: The new Chicken Tinga brings loads of excitement to the menu by incorporating shredded chicken, sautéed onions and spicy chipotle sauce as an option for tacos, burritos, and chimichangas.

Additionally, consumers can now get these new menu items and their other Tex-Mex favorites delivered via Tijuanaflats.com.

And, Tijuana Flats also officially announced Joel Reynders as the new vice president of culinary and executive chef. Reynders joined the Tijuana Flats team in July 2019 and has already been instrumental in the ideation and creation of new menu items and concepts. A Certified Culinarian with over 15 years of experience in the casual dining industry, Reynders spearheaded the development of the Grilled Cheesy Steak Flautas, the current limited time offer at Tijuana Flats stores, available until March 8, 2020.

“2020 is shaping up to be an exciting year at Tijuana Flats,” says Brian Wright, CEO of Tijuana Flats. “Joel has been an excellent addition to our team and with his innovation and expertise in the kitchen, our guests are in for a delicious year.”
