Tocaya Modern Mexican attracts all kinds of fans with its bold flavors and versatile menu, and the SoCal-based brand has a big fan in highly acclaimed actress, singer, and entrepreneur Vanessa Hudgens – whose favorite customized creation, the “Cali Bowl,” will be added to Tocaya’s menu for a limited time.
A devoted Tocaya customer for years, Hudgens has crafted her own culinary creation known as the “Cali Bowl,” which has become her signature order at the restaurant. Utilizing the diverse options on the Tocaya menu, Hudgens tailored the bowl to suit her specific dietary preferences.
Starting on Feb. 29, the Cali Bowl will be available at all Tocaya locations for the next three months, featuring a combination of healthy and satiable ingredients – including wild-caught Mexican white shrimp, grilled street corn, cauliflower rice, chipotle crema, sliced avocado, queso cotija, arbol salsa, cilantro, and lime.
In addition to the limited-time bowl, Hudgens’ is partnering with Tocaya to offer her Caliwater drinks at the restaurant on a systemwide basis. The antioxidant-rich cactus water is made from the prickly pear fruit and has five naturally occurring electrolytes, with half the sugar and calories of coconut water.
“My Cali Bowl is a celebration of everything I already love about Tocaya – fresh ingredients, amazing flavors, and a focus on healthy eating,” says Hudgens. “I have been a loyal Tocaya customer for years, so it’s an honor to be partnering with them on a custom menu item. The Cali Bowl also pairs perfectly with a can of Caliwater, so I’m excited that everyone will now have the chance to enjoy them together!”
Tocaya will offer an exclusive “Cali Combo,” which includes the superstar’s Cali Bowl paired with choice of Caliwater. With Prickly Pear and Pineapple flavor choices, diners can create a perfect lunch or dinner combination.
