Togo’s Eateries Inc. is celebrating the grand opening of its first restaurant in Tempe, Arizona, located at 9920 S Rural Road, Suite 111. The new restaurant is owned by current Togo’s franchisees Monty and Diana Coury, who opened the first Togo’s restaurant in Gilbert, Arizona, last year. To celebrate Togo’s arrival in Tempe, guests are invited to make a $1 donation to Matthew’s Crossing, a nonprofit organization that provides food assistance to those in need throughout the East Valley in Maricopa County to receive a free 32 oz. fountain drink through Monday, December 9.

“I am proud to expand Togo’s presence in Arizona,” says Monty Coury. “Since opening our first restaurant in Gilbert, we’ve seen a tremendous amount of support from the community, and there is still a huge potential for growth in the market. We’re confident that Tempe residents will become raving fans of the brand once they have experienced the Togo’s difference.”

The Courys have another Valley restaurant in development and plan to open additional restaurants in Arizona over the next several years.

At Togo’s, there is a relentless commitment to using quality ingredients and meats. Artisan bread, lean pastrami, roast beef, turkey, and other meats, as well as hand-scooped California avocados, are part of Togo’s menu, setting the brand apart from other sandwich shops.

Togo’s in Tempe, Arizona, will offer online ordering and catering services for in-store pick up.

Recently, Togo’s marked its 40th anniversary with more than 300 open and under development throughout the West. Even with this latest opening, Togo’s is still seeking to reach 400 new locations in Arizona and other key markets such as California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington over the next several years.
