Residents of Madera, California, now have a new go-to, deli-inspired restaurant serving up big, made-to-order sandwiches stuffed with the freshest ingredients. Togo’s Eateries Inc., a “West Coast Original” since 1971, announced the opening of its newest restaurant located in The Commons at Madera Fairgrounds at 2180 West Cleveland Avenue.

Harpreet and Daljit Gill decided to open their first Togo’s restaurant so Madera residents had access to the fresh, high-quality, yet reasonably priced sandwiches that the brand is known to offer. As one of the fastest growing quick-serve concepts on the West Coast, the Gills found Togo’s to be an ideal investment opportunity that they could operate along with their Baskin-Robbins franchise.

At Togo’s, there is a relentless commitment to using fresh, superior-quality ingredients and meats. California avocados are mashed daily, while artisan bread and abundant quantities of lean pastrami, roast beef, turkey, and other premium meats are part of Togo’s exceptional menu and set the brand apart from other sandwich shops.

The new location is now serving guests Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.  

Recently, Togo’s marked its 40th anniversary with more than 250 locations open on the West Coast of the U.S. Even with this latest opening, Togo’s is still seeking to reach 400 new locations in California and other key markets such as Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington by 2015.

Togo’s, which has had nine consecutive quarters of positive same-store-sales increases, is actively recruiting passionate franchisees to bring its high-quality, fresh sandwiches to new western markets.
