Togo’s Eateries Inc., a California sandwich chain with 240+ franchised units, and majority owner, private equity firm Mainsail Partners, announced the addition of Dennis Lombardi, executive vice president of WD Partners, to Togo’s Sandwiches’ Board of Managers.

“We are extraordinarily pleased to welcome Dennis Lombardi to Togo’s Board of Managers,” says Tony Gioia, Togo’s chairman and CEO. “He is one of the most highly respected leaders in the restaurant industry and we look forward to collaborating with him for our Togo’s brand.”

Lombardi serves as executive vice president of foodservice strategies at WD Partners, a design and development firm for multi-unit retail and restaurant organizations, where he directs restaurant projects using in-depth consumer research, industry trends, growth strategies, and concept positioning.

“Togo’s is such an iconic brand with a long history and I am particularly impressed with its longstanding loyal customer base,” Lombardi says. “I’m excited to join Togo’s Board and be associated with such an impressive team of industry veterans.”
