"We are very excited to partner with Gridiron and our new CEO, Greg MacDonald, to bring Tokyo Joe's to more markets and more people, while continuing to provide customers with unrivaled fresh and healthy ingredients," says  Larry Leith, chief innovation officer of Tokyo Joe's.
"With Gridiron's support and the strength of the core brand, we believe Tokyo Joe's is positioned for continued growth," adds Greg MacDonald, incoming CEO of Tokyo Joe's.
Founded in 1996 by Larry Leith, Tokyo Joe's is a fast-casual modern Asian restaurant chain that serves fresh made-to-order rice and noodle bowls, sushi, and salads. Tokyo Joe's is committed to providing a healthy menu with nutritional integrity without compromising quality or service.
"From the beginning, our motto at Tokyo Joe's has been 'Eat Good. Feel Good,'" notes Leith, "Tokyo Joe's has been successful over its 17-year history because of its people and a singular focus on serving healthy food made with the best ingredients, nothing deep fried, no greasy wok cooking, no MSG, just all natural proteins, wild seafood and organic produce where possible."
