Top That! Heads East

Beautiful Brands International (BBI) announced that it secured an agreement between Top That! Pizza (TTP) and Mohammed Obaid Al Neaimi to develop the brand in the Middle East. Al Neaimi will be responsible for the concept’s expansion strategy within the Gulf countries, as well as entry of the franchise into new regional markets.

Obaid Al Neaimi says he plans to open 20 locations throughout the Gulf countries, beginning in the United Arab Emirates next year.

Top That! Pizza is the first to define the category of custom, personal-sized pizzas and has become a ground breaker in the fast-casual pizza segment. The concept lets guests customize their pizzas, just like they would in a sub sandwich shop, choosing from a wide selection of crusts, sauces, vegetables, meats, and cheeses—all for one value price. Guests then receive their hot, fresh pizzas in less than three minutes after they are ordered, either to dine-in or take out.

The concept was developed and is owned by Jeff and Lori Walderich, who share over 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry.

The first Top That! Pizza location opened in Tulsa, Oklahoma, just seven months ago, and two more are under construction, slated to open this year. The brand currently utilizes BBI's organizational and support system to market TTP franchises in national and international markets. BBI's support includes legal, franchise sales, and other aspects of franchise development.
