With the new year comes a renewed commitment to healthier eating, and Tropical Smoothie Café is recruiting taste buds with a flavorful menu of nutrient-rich ingredients.
Known for its better-for-you fare with a tropical twist, Tropical Smoothie Café is introducing the new Coconut Curry Chicken Wrap, featuring chicken, carrots, and mixed grains wrapped in a warm tortilla and layered in a coconut curry sauce. The brand is also launching the Coconut Lime Chicken Salad, made with chicken, tomatoes, carrots, and mixed grains on a bed of kale, spinach, and romaine lettuce, topped with a coconut lime dressing. These two menu items will be available for a limited-time until February 23, 2014.
“Eating ‘lighter’ doesn’t mean you have to eat boring or bland food,” says Lisa Wenda, chief marketing officer of Tropical Smoothie Café. “Our new wrap and salad are a reinforcement of Tropical Smoothie Café’s ‘Eat Better. Feel Better.’ mantra, where we believe that food that’s good for you doesn’t have to sacrifice on taste.”
In addition to the new salad and wrap, Tropical Smoothie Café is inviting guests to drink to their health with a variety of fruit and vegetable smoothie options such as the Island Green, a blend of spinach, kale, mango, pineapple, and banana; the Caribbean C-burst, a mix of carrots, mango, banana, goji, and orange juice; the Acai Berry Boost, made with blueberries, strawberries, pomegranate, bananas, and acai; and the Pomegranate Plunge, a combination of bananas, strawberries, cranberries, and pomegranate.
