Tropical Smoothie Café announced the winner of its sweepstakes celebrating the release of the film “Shorts,” starring Jon Cryer, William H. Macy, and James Spader.

In partnership with Warner Bros. Studios, Tropical Smoothie Café’s promotion lasted from July 26 to August 29. More than 10,000 entrants vied for an opportunity to win a free trip for four to Los Angeles and four VIP passes for a tour of Warner Bros. Studios.

Sweepstakes winner Michelle Calhoon of Anthem, Arizona, her husband, John, and two close friends from Minnesota will spend three nights in a hotel of their choice in Los Angeles.

“I was over-the-moon excited when I got a phone call telling me I had won a trip to Los Angeles and a VIP Tour of Warner Bros. Studios,” Calhoon says. “The mere history within those walls is exciting in and of itself.”

Calhoon describes herself as a “sweepstakes hobbyist” who has won other prizes, but that nothing compares to this one. “This is an extremely generous grand prize Tropical Smoothie Café has awarded me, and I am very grateful. This experience is definitely one of the highlights of my ‘sweepstaking’ career,” she says.

The prize includes round-trip airfare in addition to the hotel stay and tour of Warner Bros. Studios. The total value of Tropical Smoothie Café’s sweepstakes grand prize is $6,000.
