Tropical Smoothie Café is kicking off summer by celebrating National Flip Flop Day June 16.
This year, the Atlanta-based Tropical Smoothie Cafe celebrates 20 years of encouraging customers to live better. National Flip Flop Day creates a mini vacation from everyday life as guests are encouraged to kick back and wear flip flops while enjoying a freshly made smoothie. Customers wearing flip flops into any of the almost 600 Tropical Smoothie Cafe locations between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. will receive a free, limited edition Sunshine Smoothie in a 16-ounce, 20th anniversary souvenir cup. There are no strings, or in this case, shoelaces attached.
The latest smoothie innovation, the Sunshine Smoothie, is specifically created for National Flip Flop Day and captures the taste of summer with a vitamin c-packed combination of orange, orange juice, banana, pineapple and mango. Guests will have to make sure to enjoy this great tasting smoothie while they can since it will only be available on this special day.
