To celebrate the continued growth of Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Dallas-Fort Worth, Tropical Smoothie Cafe locations in the market will host a breakfast happy hour daily until 9 a.m., for a limited time only, featuring 24 oz. smoothies for just $2.99.

Available at all six area locations, the special promotion includes any of the nationally recognized brand’s made-fresh-to-order smoothies, including its new line of “boosted” smoothies: the Acai Berry Boost featuring Zola-brand Acai berries, pomegranate, banana, blueberries and strawberries, as well as the fan favorite Chia Banana Boost with roasted banana, chia seeds, almonds, whole grain oats, cinnamon, dates and coconut with a choice of peanut butter or strawberries.

“Breakfast has been dubbed as the most important meal of the day and key to living a healthier life, but recent studies have suggested that eating mindfully throughout the day is equally important,” says JoAnn Herold, chief marketing officer for Tropical Smoothie Cafe. “Our breakfast happy hour and variety of wraps and flatbreads will help ensure customers in Dallas-Fort Worth start the day off right.”

In addition to over 25 smoothies, Tropical Smoothie Cafe offers a variety of breakfast items, including the Bacon, Egg & Cheese Wrap featuring eggs, bacon, cheddar and low-fat mozzarella in a toasted flour tortilla; the Southwest Wrap with eggs, grilled chicken, pepper jack, tomatoes, spinach and chipotle mayo in a toasted flour tortilla; and the Peanut Butter Banana Crunch Flatbread loaded with peanut butter, banana, honey and granola on a toasted flatbread.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe currently operates six locations in Dallas-Fort Worth, with plans to continue to grow throughout the market. A seventh location is slated to open in Carrollton, Texas, this summer.

This year, the food and smoothie franchise plans to open 100 restaurants nationwide and currently has franchise opportunities across the U.S. in markets such as Indianapolis, Nashville, Houston, Dallas, Cincinnati and Minneapolis, among others. By 2020, Tropical Smoothie Cafe plans to have 1,000 stores open across the U.S.
