Uncle Maddio's Debuts 8th Atlanta-Area Unit

Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Joint announced the grand opening of its eighth Atlanta-area restaurant in the Edgewood Retail District in Edgewood, Georgia.

Doors officially opened on Thursday, March 14, at 11 a.m.

The grand-opening party will be held on Saturday, March 16m from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring free pizza for a year for the first 100 customers and family-friendly activities like a stilt walker and face painting.

From 5 to 8 p.m., local guitar artist Alex Gordon Hi-Fi will entertain the Uncle Maddio’s dinner crowd.

Uncle Maddio’s answers the call for more choices and better food with a menu that gives customers more than 3 million pizza combinations.

Its menu contains three types of crusts (white, wheat, and gluten-free), six sauces, seven cheeses (including Daiya vegan cheese), and 47 different fresh toppings, including locally sourced vegetables delivered fresh daily, hormone-free chicken, organic greens, and handmade meatballs and sausages.

In addition to pizza, it serves toasted panini sandwiches and gourmet salads.

The new Uncle Maddio’s will join neighbors Willy’s Mexicana Grill and Best Buy. The restaurant opening will provide new jobs for the area, as well as new and exciting family-friendly dining, take-out, Take & Bake, catering, and event options for the local community.

“Uncle Maddio’s locations are popping up all over Atlanta, and now we finally have a place in Edgewood to call home,” says Uncle Maddio’s founderMatt Andrew.
