Uncle Maddio's Launches "Summer Fresh" Menu

In keeping with its "real pizza, real fresh, real fast" promise, Uncle Maddio's Pizza Joint this week launches a limited-time offer "Summer Fresh" menu that highlights fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

"We use fresh, locally sourced ingredients all year long," says Matt Andrew, Uncle Maddio's owner and chief pizza maker, "and summer is the time when flavor and variety really explode in local produce. We created a menu that satisfies the summer craving for fresh food and takes advantage of the plethora of locally harvested veggies and fruit--we're bringing the garden to you."

The Uncle Maddio's LTO Summer Fresh menu includes: the Cobb Salad Pizza, made with garden fresh romaine lettuce tossed in low-calorie yogurt ranch dressing and blue cheese crumbles and topped with grilled chicken, diced tomatoes, crumbled bacon, hard-boiled egg, and guacamole; the Strawberry Organic Spinach Salad, which comes with hand-picked strawberries, grilled chicken, sliced white mushrooms, red onions, crumbled goat cheese, and chopped walnuts served on organic baby spinach with homemade raspberry vinaigrette dressing; and the BLT Panini, made with bacon, fresh and crispy lettuce, local tomatoes, and creamy mayo.
