Top fast-casual pizza restaurant Uncle Maddio's Pizza opens its first Lexington, Kentucky, at 630 Euclid Avenue on Saturday with free pizza to guests in line from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The restaurant is owned and operated by local Lexington brothers Todd, Matt, and Robb Sackett, along with business partner Billy White, who also own 11 Jimmy John’s in the area.
“The Lexington community has a lot of choices when dining out, but we think Uncle Maddio’s will become their favorite,” says Billy White, Uncle Maddio’s franchisee. “The Uncle Maddio’s New York-style thin crust pizza is Americans’ favorite, and with our fast service and fresh ingredients, we plan to win over families, friends, busy lunchtime diners, and any other guest that wants to join us.”
White and the Sackett brothers have signed on for two more Uncle Maddio’s locations for the greater Lexington area. The franchisees are experienced leaders in the local restaurant scene and already own 11 Jimmy Johns around Lexington.
“The franchise team of Billy White and the Sacketts are only just starting to build a great Uncle Maddio’s Pizza presence in Lexington,” says Matt Andrew, Uncle Maddio’s CEO. “With their experience and local ties, they are sure to become the top choice for fast-casual pizza places in Lexington.”
Since launching its aggressive growth plan in 2008, Uncle Maddio's has signed franchise agreements with 67 different entities in 18 states. Many of Uncle Maddio's franchisees have previous multiunit experience with Jimmy John's, Firehouse Subs, Dairy Queen, McDonald’s, Burger King, Krystal, Papa John's, Domino's, and Golden Corral. Uncle Maddio's is on track to have 250 restaurants open in five years.
