With Upgraded TV Package, Hooters Expects Biggest Super Bowl Crowd Yet

Next Sunday, Hooters is planning for another record day in overall and wing sales. On Feb. 1, Hooters operators prepare to sell more than 2 million wings to football fans, contributing to what is anticipated to be the largest sales day of the year for the wildly popular restaurant.

"Everyone knows that Hooters is football, and with our upgraded TV packages and world-famous wings, going to Hooters for the games is an easy choice for our guests to make," says Mike McNeil, VP of marketing for Hooters of America, Inc. "The Sunday of the championship game is our busiest day of the year, and we also attribute some of that success to our national TV giveaway."

For the fourth consecutive year, Hooters is giving away a TV to one lucky customer in each of more than 380 Hooters restaurants around the country during the championship game.
