Urth Caffé reopens its cafes in Old Towne Orange and Laguna Beach to guests on Thursday, May 28 at 7 a.m.
“We’re so happy to finally welcome guests back to our beautiful Orange County Urth Caffés!” says Shallom Berkman, Urth Caffé cofounder and co-owner with his wife, Jilla Berkman. “We are looking forward to see all of our ‘regulars,’ who have been so supportive the last few months by ordering takeout and deliveries from Urth Old Towne Orange and Laguna Beach.
“Guests can count on Urth Caffé to provide safe environments they can trust,” he adds.
Both locations are known for their beauty, history and prime locations.
Urth Old Towne Orange is located on The Circle in a building the Berkmans restored to its 1880s architectural splendor.
Urth Laguna Beach, located just steps away from oceanfront Heisler Park, offers gorgeous views from the patio just as guests enjoyed from its predecessor, the historic restaurant The Cottage, that was restored to its original Craftsman style by the Berkmans.
The Orange County Board of Supervisors announced on May 23 that restaurants, stores, and shopping inside malls could reopen.
The supervisors also announced everyone is required to wear masks or face coverings now in public places, while shopping or while at work. Masks must be worn when a person is unable to maintain 6 feet from others with whom they do not live.
Restaurants and stores are to keep social distancing and other hygiene practices to keep customers and employees safe.
