The Austin-based fast casual chain, VertsKebap, will open the doors to its first San Antonio restaurant in the Park North Shopping Center at 842 NW Loop 410 on Saturday, May 16.

VertsKebap Park North will celebrate its first day of business with a grand opening event from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. featuring one free, full sized entrée per guest so north San Antonio residents can try the unique menu, risk free.

“We are very excited to introduce our customizable kebaps, wraps, and salads to San Antonians,” says co-founder and CEO Michael Heyne. “In a town full of international flavors we believe our kebaps will be embraced by San Antonio’s large population of adventurous eaters.”

VertsKebap is centered on the popular European döner kebap. A döner kebap is best described as a warm pita sandwich filled with slow roasted meats, fresh vegetables, and creamy yogurt sauces. VertsKebap offers several high-quality, fresh ingredients in an assembly-style process to allow guests to build their own customizable entrees, with most combinations coming in with fewer than 550 calories. The flexible menu also includes vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options for any guests with special diet concerns.

VertsKebap Park North is the 23rd addition to the restaurant chain and only the first of several locations planned for the San Antonio market.
