Villa Enterprises Management Ltd. Inc., a global multiconcept restaurant franchisor, announced the grand opening of a South Philly Steaks & Fries at the Mall of Arabia in Cairo, Egypt, by franchisee Ahmed Ghoneim. Over the course of 2013, Villa Enterprises plans to open five additional locations throughout the country, including a Villa Italian Kitchen location in the Mall of Arabia food court, with the help of franchisee Sherief Sobh.
“This past year we introduced two of our restaurant brands in Egypt with the opening of a Villa Italian Kitchen and Bananas at American University in Cairo, and they have been well-received by the community,” says Adam Torine, Villa Enterprises Management’s senior vice president of business development. “Opening this concept in the popular Mall of Arabia provides another great opportunity to introduce our variety of flavors and dining options to Egypt, which is extremely valuable as the presence of upscale shopping centers continues to rapidly expand throughout the country.”
The opening of South Philly Steaks & Fries concept in Egypt increases Villa Enterprises Management to more than 40 international locations. The company operates international locations in seven additional countries including the U.S., Italy, Azerbaijan, Colombia, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Mexico.
