Vitality Bowls, which specializes in açaí bowls—a thick blend of the Amazon’s antioxidant-rich açaí berry, topped with a variety of superfoods—announced the opening of its café in Atlanta. The new franchise location will be the first for Ravi Mishra.

“The fresh ingredients and superfoods that Vitality Bowls offers are unlike any other fast-casual eatery options in the Atlanta area,” says Mishra, a seasoned professional with extensive experience across diverse industries. “My first bite of an Açaí bowl at Vitality Bowls was a game-changer and I have been wanting to bring that same experience to Atlanta ever since. Due to the high nutritional value every bowl has, I feel really comfortable feeding this to my children. This is definitely the dawn of a superfoods era on the Atlantans and I feel the pride for being the pioneer of the brand in this region.”

Slated to open on November 10, the new restaurant will be located in the Viewpoint building at 855 Peachtree St NE, conveniently situated in Midtown. This restaurant will be the 1st Vitality Bowls café in Atlanta joining the 25 locations based nationwide.

Originating in Northern California, Vitality Bowls has solidified itself as America’s superfood café Mishra combining a dynamic café vibe with a unique collection of menu items containing high nutritional values and extraordinary tastes. Vitality Bowls offers an antioxidant-rich menu, with breakfast, lunch and dinner items made to order for each customer. All açaí bowls and smoothies do not contain ingredient fillers such as ice, frozen yogurt, added sugar or artificial preservatives, giving the purest taste possible.

The menu features a variety of options, such as the Energy Bowl (with organic açaí, goji berries and bee pollen), the Dragon Bowl (featuring organic pitaya, coconut milk and bananas) and their signature Vitality Bowl (with organic açaí, strawberries and honey). Additionally, the brand recently announced exclusive additions to their kids menu. Plus, fresh juices, soups, panini, salads and a superfood coffee bar are available in the café.

“Ravi is the exact entrepreneur to grow the brand in Atlanta,” says Tara Gilad, co-founder of Vitality Bowls. “His business intellect combined with his extensive industry experience will be very crucial as he launches his business. We are eager to see Ravi fulfill the demand for the healthy fast casual dining café in the Atlanta area.”

Since launching in 2011, the brand has ignited significant growth. In 2014, the concept began franchising and within the past year has signed development deals for nearly 40 units. Today, there are currently 25 open and operating with additional units in development.
