Vitality Bowls, which specializes in açaíbowls—a thick blend of the Amazon’s antioxidant-rich açaíberry, topped with a variety of superfoods—announced the opening of its café in Denver. The new franchise location will be the first for business partners Venkata Punati, Krishna Dhulipalla, and Vikas Chintha, who plan to open additional cafés in the Denver region.
“From the first bite, I knew it was the start of a new journey for me,” says Venkata, a seasoned operator of fast food and retail businesses. “The incredible taste of the fresh ingredients and the feeling it provides is just an unbeatable combination.”
Slated to open January 22 in Denver’s heavily trafficked Cherry Creek Mall, this restaurant will be the first Vitality Bowls café in Colorado. It joins an additional 19 locations nationwide.
Originating in Northern California, Vitality Bowls combines a dynamic café vibe with a unique collection of menu items. Vitality Bowls offers an antioxidant-rich menu, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner items made to order for each customer. All açaí bowls and smoothies do not contain ingredient fillers such as ice, frozen yogurt, added sugar, or artificial preservatives, giving the purest taste possible.
The menu features a variety of options, such as the Energy Bowl (with organic açaí, goji berries, and bee pollen), the Dragon Bowl (featuring organic pitaya, coconut milk, and bananas) and their signature Vitality Bowl (with organic açaí, strawberries, and honey). Additionally, the brand recently announced exclusive additions to its kids’ menu. Plus, fresh juices, soups, Panini, and salads are available in each café.
“Simply put, we’ve created an environment where our guests discover that eating healthy superfoods can taste great in a variety of ways,” says Tara Gilad, founder and owner of Vitality Bowls. “We look forward to seeing Venkata and general manager Jasmine Punati expand their business in Denver and share the Vitality Bowls movement with the community.”
Since launching in 2011, the brand has ignited significant growth. In 2014, the concept began franchising and within the past year has signed development deals for nearly 40 units.
