The Miami Vice berry is a homage to nostalgia and everything 80’s.

Famed pastry funhouse, Voodoo Doughnut is bringing back the Miami Vice Berry for a limited time. The elusive doughnut is back during the month of August at seven Voodoo Doughnut locations across the U.S.

A raised yeast doughnut dipped in vanilla frosting, blue raspberry dust and pink sprinkles, the Miami Vice berry is a homage to nostalgia and everything 80’s. It first launched in May of 2003 when the famous doughnut shop first opened their doors. It has since become a seasonal treat many customers wait for all year-long.

“While we still sling our most popular flavors daily, we heard the calling of our fans to bring back this limited time fan favorite,” says co-founder, Kenneth “Cat Daddy” Pogson.

Miami Vice Berries are available for $2.50 through August so you’ve still got ample time to squeeze in one, or a dozen, before it’s too late.
