Wayback Burgers sometimes outdoes itself on its limited time offers and is attempting to do it again this summer—with free milkshakes, a limited-edition milkshake and a new spin on an old-fashioned ice cream treat.

First, on June 21, the fun begins with “Free Shake Day.” For the 10th straight year, Wayback Burgers is proclaiming the first day of summer as #FreeShakeDay. All participating restaurants will give away one free 12-ounce Black & White milkshake per guest, all day while supplies last. It’s a milkshake crafted with Blue Bunny ice cream, Hershey’s chocolate syrup, French Vanilla syrup and milk.

Wayback Burgers’ CEO John Eucalitto says, “Wayback Burgers is all about promoting moments of nostalgia for families and friends over great burgers, fries, and milkshakes. That’s why we want to start summer off on a good note with our legendary Free Shake Day. We invite ice cream lovers of all ages to come out and enjoy a free shake on us. It’s sure to be a fun day.”

And then, one day later, on June 22, Wayback Burgers is offering — you’ll want to sit down for this — an ice cream sandwich. Sure, at first glance, that may not sound revolutionary or even unusual, but the “bread” in ice cream sandwiches is never bread—it’s more along the line of cookie wafers. But for six glorious weeks, Wayback Burgers will be offering guests the delicious CinnaSugar Ice Cream Sandwich. This delicious concoction is made of Blue Bunny vanilla ice cream sandwiched between deep-fried buns and rolled in cinnamon sugar. Yes, real bread. And ice cream. It’s sure to be a fan favorite.

But Wayback Burgers isn’t stopping there. It will anoint this summer, “The Summer of Cinnamon” when, on August 1, it rolls out its Caramel Cinnamon Toast Crunch Milkshake. This unique concoction was the victor in a recent contest held among members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America across the country. During this contest, the boys and girls submitted their shake ideas, which were narrowed down to a few top favorites and the Caramel Cinnamon Toast Crunch Milkshake came out the winner. The winning shake was an idea from R. W. Brown Boys & Girls Club and the Caring People Alliance of Philadelphia. The shake naming contest was just one of many fundraising efforts stemming from Wayback Burgers’ partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The winning shake will be available at Wayback Burgers locations through August and September.
