Wayback Burgers, America’s hometown burger joint, serving burgers made from 100-percent ground beef, hand-dipped milkshakes and more, announced the winner of its Triple Triple Challenge and recipient of the $3,330 grand prize. For the third consecutive year, Molly Schuyler of Plumas Lake, California, proved that she is the one to beat, demolishing the nine-patty burger in just 40.56 seconds at the Medford, Oregon location to defend her title of “Triple Triple ‘Chompion.’”
This year’s competition proved to be Wayback Burgers’ largest yet, with over 2,000 guests signing up online and donning stretchy pants for the chance to take down Wayback Burgers’ massive nine-patty burger in the fastest time. The challenge also spanned international borders for the first time, with over 400 people registering to compete at Wayback Burgers’ Buenos Aires, Argentina restaurant.
“Our Triple Triple Challenge continues to get bigger and better every year,” says John Eucalitto, president of Wayback Burgers. “It’s amazing to see how iconic our nine-patty burger and this competition have become for the Wayback Burgers brand, and we enjoy serving our guests a side of friendly competition year after year to go along our great burgers. Once again, Molly has proved that she’s still on top, and we look forward to seeing who will give her a run for her money next year.”
Wayback Burgers offers delicious burgers, cooked to order, available as a single, classic double, triple and triple triple (nine) patty, and rich, thick milkshakes, served in an environment that hearkens back to a simpler place and time—when “customer service” meant something and everyone felt the warmth of the community. Going “way” beyond the burger, Wayback Burgers offers crispy and grilled chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers, turkey burgers, fresh salads and sides, including fries, onion rings and House-Made Chips.
