The tragedy that occurred on May 24th at the Flushing, New York Wendy’s restaurant deeply saddened members of the Wendy’s family nationwide. The Wendy’s New York City Cooperative, franchisees, and employees are establishing the Wendy’s Employees Relief Fund in conjunction with the New York City Mayor’s office. The fund will provide financial support to the families during this difficult time.

Wendy’s wanted to find an appropriate way to express our sympathy, honor our friends and colleagues, and provide assistance to their families,” said Ed Choe, Senior Vice President of Operations for Wendy’s.

Wendy’s employees from Flushing and other locations, as well as friends, family and community members will have the opportunity to contribute to the fund, which will be established and administered through the Mayor’s office.

The Wendy’s New York City Cooperative encourages all members of the community to offer their generous support to the Wendy’s Employees Relief Fund.
