The Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF), the industry’s premier leadership development organization, announced that Kraft Foods Group Inc., is the recipient of the SOAR Award. The prestigious SOAR Award sponsored by Yum! Brands, stands for Standard-Setters for Opportunity, Advancement, and Recognition of women, and annually honors one foodservice company that is supremely dedicated to attracting, educating and promoting women to the highest positions in the organization.
The award was presented during the 2015 Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida on March 9 at the Orlando World Center Marriott.

Named after a founding member of the WFF and a true pioneer in the foodservice industry, Jackie B.Trujillo rose from a car-hop to the chairman of the board of the largest KFC franchise in history. She not only spurred women leaders forward in her organization but opened doors for more women to be elevated in the foodservice industry. The SOAR award is the highest honor an organization can receive from the WFF.
